"Wetlands" are those areas that are inundated or saturated by
surface water or groundwater at a frequency and duration
sufficient to support, and that under normal circumstances do
support, a prevalence of vegetation typically adapted for life in
saturated soil conditions. Wetlands generally include swamps,
marshes, bogs, and similar areas. (33 CFR 328.3(b); 40 CFR

Utilizing a foundation of soil science, ecology, mapping skills, and biology, Rowden Consulting, LLC
excels in the field of wetland consulting. We perform wetland and stream delineations using the ever-
changing and ever-expanding methodology and techniques employed in the field of wetland science.
We assist clients by coordinating and filing permit applications with the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers. Rowden Consulting, LLC prepares permit submittals, Nationwide Permit pre-construction
notices, Individual Section 404 applications and mitigation plans. We specialize in developing
mitigation plans that satisfy the regulatory requirements and fit within the client's budget.
